Saving No to Good Projects Sometimes
Why turning down nice work is sometimes the best thing for the work.
A full calendar is not a good calendar
Last year I said yes to everything and drew nothing I loved. This year I keep two slots a month empty on purpose.
Those empty slots turned into a book cover, a mural and most of this journal. Saying no made room for the yes.
